Since the Bakersfield Kiwanis Club sponsors three levels of youth in college, high school, and elementary, they decided to base their float on one particular problem that is found in all of those groups... you guessed it.. drugs. Their banner read "Keeping Kids Off Drugs...Shouldn't Be A Fairy Tale". The Bakersfield Kiwanis Club float took "FIRST PLACE IN THE FRATERNITY CATEGORY". Div. 33 Lt.
